"A wife who loses a Husband is called a widow.

A Husband who loses a wife is called a widower.

A child who loses a parent is called a orphan.

But, in Yiddish, they say. "There is NO word for a Parent who has lost a child.

That is how awful the loss is."

My dearest and only son:

Well Ellis, my beloved son, it has now been over twenty-one

l-o-n-g, and lonely years since you went away.

JESUS has had you longer than I did! Oh baby,

I will never forget that day! Though in my heart

I wish I could sometimes!

I looked completely different!  From a haggard-worn face of a Mother in deep

mourning, that forgot how to smile...

to the face of a young girl!

"Why...why?! Oh, my baby, oh my son, my son!"

"Do not weep, my daughter. Your

"baby son" would not trade "ONE second" of

his life up here, for his "whole life-time" that he

had down upon earth!"

Excerpts taken from my new book

"MY LIFE JOURNAL (From My Heart To Yours)"

Once more I revised information on my letter to My Son because as the years slip by and get longer still, I can only do that for in this letter I have written all the love in my heart for him and to him and feel in my heart that JESUS will once again deliver the "hug & kiss" that goes with this letter for my only son. I love you forever! Now you have your grandparents there with you and even your Dad, too. All of my other loved ones that have gone on are with you. I know you are happy my baby-son even though my heart still longs to hold you in my arms. Soon and very soon, I believe, we shall see each other my beloved baby. I know you are not a baby, but to me you shall always remain my "baby-son". I love you my darling. Your Mother

(April 6, 2009 Happy 41st Birthday, baby!)

~ ANGEL UNAWARE ~

I’ll lend for you a little while, a child of mine, He said.

For you to love while she lives, and mourn when she is dead.

It may be six or seven years, or twenty-two or three.

But will you, till I call her back, take care of her for me?

She’ll bring her charms to gladden you, and shall her stay be brief,

You’ll have her lovely memories as solace for your grief.

I cannot promise she will stay, as all from earth return,

But there are lessons taught down there I want this child to learn.

I’ve looked the wide world over in my search for teachers true.

And from the throngs that crowd life’s lanes, I have selected you.

Now will you give her all your, love-not think the labor vain,

nor hate me when I come to call to take her back again.

I fancied that I heard them say ‘Dear lord, they will be done.’

For all the joy this child shall brings, the risk of grief we’ll run.

We’ll shower her with tenderness and love her while we may.

And for the happiness we’ve known, forever grateful stay.

And should the angels call for her much sooner than we planned.

We’ll brave the bitter grief that comes, and try to understand.

-Dale Evans- (written for her baby daughter, Robin,

but I used it for my only son, who was sent from GOD to me)

"Love never disappears for death is a non-event.

I have merely retired to the room next door.

You and I are the same; what we were for each other we still are.

Speak to me as you always have, do not use a different tone, do not be sad.

Continue to laugh at what made us laugh. Smile and think of me.

Life means what it has always meant. The link is not severed.

Why should I be out of your soul if I am out of your sight?

I will wait for you, but just on the other side of this path. You see all is well."
~ St. Augustine ~
